WARRANTY POLICY
What is Method’s Warranty Policy?
Method Snowboards warrants their product to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship for a period of one year from the original date of purchase.
It will be repaired or replaced if upon inspection at an authorized Method
Snowboard Service Center, and sent to and agreed upon by a Method Warranty
Service Technician, it is found to be defective in materials or workmanship.
This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, abuse, negligence,
impact (striking a rock, post, etc.), repairs or alterations outside of our
facility, or improper mounting of bindings, and is subject to the following
terms and limitations.
TERMS
Purchaser’s Responsibilities:
1. The Purchaser must retain a copy of the original Proof of Purchase from
Method. If the original Proof of Purchase cannot be provided on a warranty
return, Method will use the manufacturing date as the start of the warranty
period.
2. Damaged product submitted for warranty service must be sent along with
the original Proof of Purchase to Method before expiration of the one-year
warranty period.
Method’s Responsibilities:
1. Products returned for warranty service shall be inspected by a Method Warranty
Service Technician.
2. If the problem is judged by Method to be due to a factory defect, we will
repair or replace (with an identical or reasonably equivalent product) the
product at our election.
3. Method will return the repaired or replacement product at our expense,
but if we determine that there is no defect or that the defect resulted from
causes not within the scope of this warranty, return of the product will be
at the customer’s expense.
4. The Method Warranty Manager makes the final determination concerning defects
in the materials and workmanship.
LIMITATIONS
1. Method limits all implied warranties one year from the original date of
purchase at retail. In the event that the purchaser is unable to provide Proof
of Purchase, the warranty period shall be one year from the date of manufacture.
2. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
3. Method’s sole liability from this warranty is limited to repair and
replacement of defective product. Under no circumstances shall Method be held
liable for death or injuries to persons, damage to property, or for incidental,
contingent or consequential damages or expenses arising from the use of Method
products.
4. Replacement products under this warranty are warrantied only for the remainder
of the original warranty period.

PLACING AN ORDER
How do I order?
1. The process normally commences with a ‘no obligation’ inquiry,
which provides design alternatives and initial quotation.
2. If a customised design is requested, then this can be managed as a separate
project (based on a fixed price) or incorporated into the purchase of the
snowboards (which is secured by Letter of Credit).
3. Once the Purchaser is ready to place the final order, relevant bank details
are exchanged and a Letter of Credit is raised by the Purchaser’s bank
and sent to Method Snowboards.
4. Method Snowboards will supply the snowboards to the dock in readiness for
shipment (i.e. FOB) in a timely and efficient manner.
